“Don’t pretend to be tired” was the motto when we started at 7:15 a.m. in front of the Axito plant with warm sand­wiches, buttered pret­zels, coffee, etc., because the bus was ready to leave at 8 a.m.!

First, we went to the “Höch­sten”, a view­point at 833m with a magnif­i­cent view of Lake Constance and the Alps, there­after to Uhldingen to the car and tractor museum, where you can expe­ri­ence 100 years of city and country life in a single day.

For me it was a nice excur­sion with a relaxed boat trip on Lake Constance, an inter­esting tour through the museum and a successful conclu­sion in the restau­rant with a pleasant get-together and conver­sa­tions among colleagues.

With renewed strength by the our visit to a restau­rant, the trip continued to Über­lingen for a panoramic cruise on Lake Constance. The weather was excel­lent and thank­fully provided a calm swell. Thanks to the good catering on board, the throat did not dry out in the late summer breeze.

On the way back home, a stop was made in Unlingen at “Gasthaus Sonne” for the phys­ical well-being, that no one had to go home hungry. A day with friends remains in memory.

It was an outstand­ingly beau­tiful day, in which the everyday life was put aside, and the commu­nity was culti­vated. The next excur­sion is already being planned so that as many Axito colleagues as possible can enjoy such a good expe­ri­ence.
