The building
- The two office floors (internally dubbed “Technology”) were built in the mid-1990s in two successive construction phases.
- Outer dimensions: approx. 47 x 40 meters
- The office floors were planned and built as part of the expansion of the assembly facility to the north with the aim of bringing assembly and construction planning closer together.
- The two floors were designed as open-plan offices with flexible workspaces. The modern working environments are reflected in the spatial concept and the furnishing of the work zones we are familiar with from the D6 building (Meeting, Create, Focus, Lounge, etc.).
The project
- Planning and implementation: Ulrich Gräfe, (external) Facility Management, is responsible for supervising the construction project, while Stefan Meingast, Senior Expert Facility Management, is in charge of implementing the “New Work” concept of modern working environments. In addition, many colleagues from different areas have been supporting the project from day one.
