Axito GmbHGet together of works councils from the region

Several times a year, the works councils of regional engineering companies meet to exchange views on current issues and bring their many years of experience as elected representatives into the discussions. Axito was in the role of host this time.

For more than 25 years, works councils from the region have been meeting to discuss and exchange experiences. Through this networking, the works councils, which are mainly from the mechanical engineering sector, can exchange ideas and provide each other with assistance on a wide range of topics. Last year, the Axito works council was also allowed to join this circle and was therefore very pleased to host the meeting on 8 May 2023 in Laupheim. Also present were the works councils of Uhlmann Pac-Systeme and six other companies from the region.

A major topic this time was the shortage of skilled workers in the region. Many of the companies represented at the meeting are more or less affected by this, so there was a lively exchange and new ideas were discussed. With a full head and an empty stomach, the group went to lunch in the canteen at Uhlmann Pac-Systeme, where they were able to exchange ideas and get to know each other better. Finally, Karl Braig, Head of Services at Axito, took the group on a tour of Plant 5, where he showed the interested participants Axito’s modern production facilities.

The next meeting is already being planned and will take place on 31 July at Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG in Laupheim.
