As the main sponsor and name\u00adsake of the 1st Uhlmann Ober\u00adschwaben Cycling Grand Prix, Uhlmann supported four days of exciting cycling. The stage race, which started with an indi\u00advidual time trial and led to the grand finale via chal\u00adlenging circuits, was an excel\u00adlent oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to promote our strong regional commit\u00adment and our convic\u00adtion that exer\u00adcise and health are crucial factors for well-being. 330 road cyclists competed in a total of 13 different classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how the Uhlmann Ober\u00adschwaben Cycling Grand Prix went: <\/strong>As a cycling fan, it\u2019s a really inter\u00adesting event. You could ask other riders and coaches who compete at a completely different level ques\u00adtions about the race. It was also a great expe\u00adri\u00adence to not just watch a race from the side\u00adlines, but to actively make deci\u00adsions your\u00adself.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A race for amateur racers took place over two days. Thomas Maucher was among the partic\u00adi\u00adpants. It was his first race ever, so he was under\u00adstand\u00adably nervous before the first start, a 14-kilo\u00admetre time trial. He completed this distance in 21:50 minutes, aver\u00adaging 38 km\/h. The next day, he competed in a circuit race near Bad Schussen\u00adried. It was a rela\u00adtively flat lap, 4.48 kilo\u00adme\u00adtres, which he had to complete a total of eight times. In the final sprint, he crossed the finish line in second place. A strong perfor\u00admance.<\/p>\n\n\n
