At the Uhlmann Family Day, all employees were able to take a tour of the assembly halls and offices with Family & Friends. There was plenty on offer, from machine demon\u00adstra\u00adtions and specialist presen\u00adta\u00adtions to hands-on activ\u00adi\u00adties in the training work\u00adshop and a varied outdoor program, fun guar\u00adan\u00adteed for kids and adults alike. Culi\u00adnary delights were served, including in a beau\u00adtiful beer garden \u2013 complete with maypole. We would like to take this oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to thank the Uhlmann family once again for this unfor\u00adget\u00adtable day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaiser family, what did you think of the family day?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Kaiser: \u201cAs this was my first family day at Uhlmann, there was a lot of excite\u00adment before\u00adhand. My chil\u00addren were already looking forward to the family day and had made time for it, which is quite a compli\u00adment consid\u00adering the teenage age of my sons Benjamin (16 years) and Jonas (14 years). My daughter Hannah (10 years old) was also very excited about what there was to see and expe\u00adri\u00adence at Uhlmann. As we live in Laupheim, we set off on our bikes towards Uhlmann shortly before 10am. We then queued up at Plant 5 to start the family day there. There was a lot going on \u2013 but the waiting time was very enter\u00adtaining, as we met lots of friendly and curious colleagues and their friends and were able to take the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to get to know each other in a \u201ccompletely different\u201d way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a great day with the best weather, lots of good-humored familiar and previ\u00adously unfa\u00admiliar faces in a great envi\u00adron\u00adment. I am grateful for the wonderful day and the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to present my employer to my loved ones with joy and a good dose of pride.<\/p>\nThomas Kaiser, Project Manager <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

After the inter\u00adesting tours of produc\u00adtion in Plant 5 and Plant 1 with lots of good ques\u00adtions from my chil\u00addren, we then spent \u201cfar too little time\u201d in the Magic Sky area. The view of their dad\u2019s desk, the hands-on activ\u00adi\u00adties in the training work\u00adshop and the new office worlds were also a high\u00adlight for all of us. At lunchtime, there was some\u00adthing tasty on offer for every taste, so everyone was able to cater for their own phys\u00adical well-being. We will partic\u00adu\u00adlarly remember the gener\u00adally good atmos\u00adphere and the real\u00adiza\u00adtion of how many fami\u00adlies in Laupheim and the surrounding area hang out with and from Uhlmann. THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family day at Uhlmann deserves its name, as there was plenty on offer for young and old. Overall, every\u00adthing was very well orga\u00adnized and the hours flew by.<\/p>\nNatalie <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Very infor\u00adma\u00adtive, good insight into the various work\u00adplaces and depart\u00adments, indi\u00advidual stations were well explained and ques\u00adtions were answered in a friendly manner; free drinks were great, the fun program for chil\u00addren was also superbly planned and executed. The choice and variety of food was fantastic. So once again \u201cTHANK YOU\u201d for letting me come along.<\/p>\nBenjamin, 16 years<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
