Fabian M\u00fcller, theater group Ingoldingen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fabian M\u00fcller has been acting since 1998. After a year in another club, he joined the Ingoldingen theater group in 1999 and stayed. Whether as a Spanish waiter or hand\u00adcuffed to a table dance pole, in High German or Swabian, the applause at the end is the reward for months of work.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparing for a new role is not just about learning the text To play the Spanish waiter as real as possible, he even went to the solarium for 3 months! He grew a mous\u00adtache for the role of Freddy Stecher. You also have to be able to endure pain when you are slapped on stage by your acting colleague. Don\u2019t worry, it didn\u2019t hurt, assures Fabian, but the audi\u00adence is still star\u00adtled by the sound, it\u2019s all real.   <\/p>\n\n\n

The Ingoldingen theater group has been in exis\u00adtence for over 40 years and currently consists of 30 people with different tasks, actors, stage construction\/props, direc\u00adtion, tech\u00adnology. Not forget\u00adting the prompter, the most impor\u00adtant person according to Fabian \u2013 some\u00adtimes one look from her is enough to remember the right text. That\u2019s what you call a well-coor\u00addi\u00adnated team! Unadul\u00adter\u00adated, means without micro\u00adphones, the team thrills around 170 spec\u00adta\u00adtors each year in 9 perfor\u00admances in the musi\u00adcians\u2019 home, always sold out to the last seat. At the derni\u00e8re, the actors like to play tricks on each other, e.g. there is salt instead of sugar in the coffee or water suddenly comes out of the shower head\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruth Schef\u00adfold \u2013 \u201cCurtain lifters\u201d Baustetten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Ruth Schef\u00adfold, the appeal of acting lies in slip\u00adping into a completely different person and living out their facets. She enjoys losing herself in a role and filling it with life. However, it also requires a certain amount of caution to ensure that this char\u00adacter does not uncon\u00adsciously become part of everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past 30 years, she has played many a role at the Vorhanglupfern. A decade ago, she was drawn to the festival in Burgrieden for a season, where she appeared on stage as an extra. That year, she was on stage in both Burgrieden and Baustetten. Almost every year, the curtain raisers put on four perfor\u00admances in the gymna\u00adsium and festival hall in Baustetten, tradi\u00adtion\u00adally in October for Thanks\u00adgiving, with around 300 spec\u00adta\u00adtors per perfor\u00admance. The time commit\u00adment for the actors is consid\u00ader\u00adable, as rehearsals begin three months in advance, initially on a weekly basis \u2013 the work\u00adload is grad\u00adu\u00adally increased. There is always a lot of tension just before the perfor\u00admances. The support of family members is also needed, be it for setting up the stage or for orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtional tasks. The asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion takes care of every\u00adthing itself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each role is a high\u00adlight.<\/p>\nRuth Schef\u00adfold, Office Manager<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ruth doesn\u2019t have a favorite role, because each one has its own charm. With her voice and appear\u00adance, she slips into every char\u00adacter and makes it her own. She has already appeared in a variety of roles, including hotel recep\u00adtionist, public pros\u00ade\u00adcutor, fitness trainer, celebrity, monk, diet club member, village gossip and tramp. For the latter, her costume was spon\u00adta\u00adneously dragged through the dirt shortly before the perfor\u00admance to make the look more authentic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memo\u00adrizing is one of those things. The more assign\u00adments you have, the more time you have to invest. Only when you have the text down pat is it possible to play the role authen\u00adti\u00adcally and immerse your\u00adself in it more quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n

Fabian Wahlen\u00admayer \u2013 Amateur stage Laupheim<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Bremen town musi\u00adcians\u201c, who does not know them? This was last year\u2019s play by the \u201cAmateur\u00adb\u00fchne Laupheim e. V.\u201d \u2013 a touring theater company that performs children\u2019s theater, mostly fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. The approx\u00adi\u00admately 30 actors, including chil\u00addren from the age of 6 and other helpers (make-up, prompter, etc.) have 7 perfor\u00admances a year, and a lot of sets and costumes are stored in the club\u00adhouse. In keeping with the fairy tale theme, chil\u00addren under the age of 6 also have small roles and run across the stage as mice, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabian was born into the club and has done every\u00adthing \u2013 on and off stage. He has been the board member for 12 years and is actively supported by his parents, wife and two daugh\u00adters.<\/p>\n\n\n

The stage moves to the canteen of the Uhlmann School, to the Kulturhaus Laupheim, to Dietenheim\/Regglisweiler, Oberdischingen, Ehingen, Schmiechen or Munderkingen for the after\u00adnoon perfor\u00admances \u2013 everyone has to get stuck in \u2013 load the vans, unload, set up \u2013 then dismantle, load, unload again\u2026. For this reason, the back\u00addrops \u2013 modular in design and all of them home-made \u2013 have to be corre\u00adspond\u00adingly light but stable. They consist of panels painted on both sides that can be rotated 180\u00b0 \u2013 and you have a different stage set, inge\u00adnious! The spec\u00adta\u00adtors, between 240 and 600 per perfor\u00admance, want to be catered for and in some cases the amateur stage also sells drinks outside the venue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kurt Kloos \u2013 Theater Eber\u00adhardzell <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re a spec\u00adtator at a play, then a friend encour\u00adages you to take part and you\u2019re already on stage as an actor! This is how Kurt Kloos came to the Theater Eber\u00adhardzell in 1998. Since then, he has had many different roles, including policeman, inspector, morti\u00adcian, drunken wedding guest and blind piano tuner. But there were also years when he wasn\u2019t on stage and worked in the tech\u00adnical depart\u00adment, and once he was even a prompter!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion with its 40 members cele\u00adbrated its 50th anniver\u00adsary last year. Some say it is the best theater in the area. It seems to be true: The 15-18 perfor\u00admances a year in the parish hall in Eber\u00adhardzell, each with around 200 spec\u00adta\u00adtors, are always sold out \u2013 with a waiting list!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rehearsals for the three-act plays start at the begin\u00adning of October, the texts are learned act by act, the text has to be right at the first rehearsal, the director is strict. The premiere tradi\u00adtion\u00adally takes place on \u201cSt. Stephen\u2019s Day\u201d, which is Boxing Day. In Eber\u00adhardzell, too, the stage is built by the members of the asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion, who are talented craftsmen, e.g. painters, and costumes are bought in or borrowed.<\/p>\n\n\n

It\u2019s not just the applause that rewards Kurt and his club colleagues, there\u2019s also always a trip lasting several days, they\u2019ve already been to Seville or they simply go out for a fancy meal in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kurt & Co. are also proud of the LAMATHEA, the state amateur theater prize, which they won in 2019 for a dialect comedy in which every\u00adthing is spoken in verse and rhymes, in Swabian of course. However, they first had to be persuaded to take part, as the head of the asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion is a big fan and is in the audi\u00adence every year.
