In the context of contin\u00aduous growth and devel\u00adop\u00adment, Cremer Speci\u00adaal\u00adma\u00adchines has recently made a signif\u00adi\u00adcant invest\u00adment in its staff by starting two groups of a total of 20 colleagues with the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training in February and April 2024. The green belt symbol\u00adizes the third level of training. This step empha\u00adsizes Cremer\u2019s commit\u00adment to improving quality and effi\u00adciency for the benefit of its customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lean Six Sigma method\u00adology, aimed at contin\u00adu\u00adously improving internal processes, is a core part of Cremer\u2019s Oper\u00ada\u00adtional Excel\u00adlence program. With the focus on Plan\u00adning, Lead Time, Delivery Reli\u00ada\u00adbility and Quality, Cremer is taking a signif\u00adi\u00adcant step forward in strength\u00adening its market posi\u00adtion and preparing for future growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

System\u00adat\u00adi\u00adcally improving<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The training was provided by Ren\u00e9 Visser <\/a>from PEEC (Produc\u00adtivity Engi\u00adneering Excel\u00adlence Corpo\u00adra\u00adtion) and offered the partic\u00adi\u00adpants not only a thor\u00adough theo\u00adret\u00adical foun\u00adda\u00adtion but also the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to apply their knowl\u00adedge prac\u00adti\u00adcally. Almost all partic\u00adi\u00adpants success\u00adfully obtained their certifi\u00adcate after an inten\u00adsive week of training and taking an exam, proof of their dedi\u00adca\u00adtion and profes\u00adsional compe\u00adtence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program does not end with obtaining certifi\u00adcates. The next step is the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of the acquired knowl\u00adedge in prac\u00adtice through the selec\u00adtion of concrete projects. During a brain\u00adstorming session, various prob\u00adlems were iden\u00adti\u00adfied, which, after careful consul\u00adta\u00adtion and assess\u00adment against the objec\u00adtives of Oper\u00ada\u00adtional Excel\u00adlence, led to the selec\u00adtion of six projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applying knowl\u00adedge in prac\u00adtice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The so-called DMAIC method will be followed for each selected project. The DMAIC method, an acronym for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control, forms the back\u00adbone of these projects. It offers a system\u00adatic and struc\u00adtured approach that facil\u00adi\u00adtates evidence-backed improve\u00adments. This method\u00adology under\u00adlines Cremer\u2019s commit\u00adment to fact-based deci\u00adsion-making and the pursuit of contin\u00aduous improve\u00adment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the Lean Six Sigma training program, Uhlmann has offi\u00adcially been on a lean journey since summer 2018. Its goal: to estab\u00adlish a compre\u00adhen\u00adsive lean improve\u00adment culture within three years.
