In order to carry out the migra\u00adtion, the majority of the Axito team was sent off for a well-deserved Easter weekend on Maundy Thursday. Around 70 colleagues took this shut\u00addown as an oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to bid farewell to the Axito era and get in the mood for the new times. So the \u201c4 pm beer\u201d (kind of a Swabian tradi\u00adtion) was served in Mietingen at the Tennis Center. With some nice food and drinks the colleagues enjoyed the cozy atmos\u00adphere with lively conver\u00adsa\u00adtions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did the migra\u00adtion go?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are grateful and proud of all those colleagues who took care of the migra\u00adtion of the produc\u00adtion data during the Easter weekend. From Thursday to Easter Monday, the team worked flat out on migrating the systems. After the kick-off on Thursday, mate\u00adrial masters and produc\u00adtion orders were migrated. Daily status meet\u00adings ensured clear commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion and esca\u00adla\u00adtion when neces\u00adsary. Printing of the migrated orders started on Friday and errors were imme\u00addi\u00adately corrected. On Saturday, a total of 16 colleagues exchanged order papers throughout the plant and carried out the first system tests. Despite minor prob\u00adlems, the orders were processed success\u00adfully. At the same time, the migra\u00adtion of unre\u00adleased orders and work plans began. Thanks to the great progress made, the team was able to take a break on Easter Sunday to spend the day with their fami\u00adlies. The inven\u00adtory migra\u00adtion began on Easter Monday. After a thor\u00adough check it was clear: the produc\u00adtion was ready for the night shift. All in all, it was a great team effort from IT and the specialist depart\u00adments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion between the specialist depart\u00adments and IT was very good. As soon as someone had completed their task, they imme\u00addi\u00adately offered their support again.
