A brief biog\u00adraphy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clemens Rehbein has been a quality manager for more than 20 years, including for convert\u00adible roofs of the Corvette or the Opel GT, Sanofi\u2019s insulin pens and asthma inhalers from Orion and GSK, as well as for TRUMPF\u2019s elec\u00adtronics busi\u00adness world\u00adwide. He joined Uhlmann in January 2020, bringing with him exten\u00adsive inter\u00adna\u00adtional expe\u00adri\u00adence gained in coun\u00adtries like the USA, Japan and Mexico. The aero\u00adspace engi\u00adneer spent 10 years with the German Armed Forces in various posi\u00adtions \u2013 even serving as a weapons inspector for the OSCE.<\/p>\n

Mr. Rehbein, what exactly brought you to Uhlmann?<\/h3>\n

I was actu\u00adally approached by someone while I was still working at Voith. I then took a look at Uhlmann and saw some very clear and, for me, appealing simi\u00adlar\u00adi\u00adties between the philos\u00adophy at Uhlmann and, for example, TRUMPF, where I also worked for 6 years. I think it\u2019s fantastic when the owner really still has an influ\u00adence on the company, like the Uhlmann family does.<\/p>\n

What is your job in the company?<\/h3>\n

My job is to ensure that the quality of our prod\u00aducts and processes creates delight for our customers \u2013 a respon\u00adsi\u00adbility I share with the BU managers. For me, it\u2019s about providing support. And not just iden\u00adti\u00adfying prob\u00adlems but resolving them, true to the prin\u00adciple: a good product comes from a good process.<\/p>\n

Effec\u00adtively, this means that we uncover our customers\u2019 pain points, consis\u00adtently push to perma\u00adnently elim\u00adi\u00adnate them, and guide future deci\u00adsions on prod\u00aducts and processes so that they never recur. Quality is always measured by the customer. It\u2019s a bit like looking for a new partner: You may think you\u2019re quite a catch, but you\u2019re not the one making the deci\u00adsion. \u2003<\/p>\n\n
