The first ques\u00adtion that I ask myself this morning is, \u201cWhy is the alarm clock going off so early?\u201d Oh, right \u2013 today marks the first time I am back in the actual office, after a long, long, long time working from home. An exciting day is about to start \u2013 I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll survive!<\/p>\n

Trip around the world to Ehingen<\/h3>\n

While I am getting dressed for the office I feel like getting ready to go out on the town.
\nWhere is this \u201cEhingen\u201d and how on earth do I get there? Navi says it will take 45 minutes\u2026. I finally get to travel the world again!<\/p>\n

Whoops, I forgot my card. Crawling over the barri\u00adcades I find myself wondering if they had been recently disin\u00adfected.<\/p>\n

Frank wants to greet me with a fist bump. What should I do? Does our combined arm length reach the required one and a half meters? My arms are long enough but Frank\u2019s are pretty short, although notice\u00adably tan\u2026. what am I doing wrong?<\/p>\n

Fallen leaves and a dead plant<\/h3>\n

There are leaves on the ground throughout the entire office. The trees are completely bare and brown. It doesn\u2019t look very clean and sterile to me\u2026. why didn\u2019t anyone water our poor plants while we were gone?<\/p>\n

I miss the coffee back at home.<\/p>\n

What is this Windows System and how do I use it? Can we please have a rein\u00adte\u00adgra\u00adtion training for this?
\nMy mouse is sticking to the desk. My first thought: This place is filthy. My second thought: Think posi\u00adtive, David. No one has touched this mouse since you left. With that in mind, it must be clean.<\/p>\n

Main\u00adtain your distance, please!<\/h3>\n

My coworkers have gained a bit of weight. It is nearly impos\u00adsible to main\u00adtain the required social distance\u2026 or is it only the distance from face to face that counts? Although, main\u00adtaining that distance from body to body is also crit\u00adical to avoid getting shot at by a popping shirt button.<\/p>\n

Lunch ques\u00adtion: Lunch counts as personal time, right? So, am I allowed to sit with one other person outside of my house\u00adhold without adhering to the social distancing stan\u00addards?<\/p>\n

This free Sauer\u00adbraten is amazing! A defi\u00adnite must for the future. Although we prob\u00adably have to rethink the plastic containers\u2026<\/p>\n

Feels good to be back<\/h3>\n

With all of the stress and cyni\u00adcism in trying to accom\u00admo\u00addate to this new routine, it was still great to see all my coworkers in person. I can\u2019t wait for next week.<\/p>\n
